Hello! Welcome to Sheridan Elementary, home of the
Stallions! We're glad you've taken time to visit
our web site. As principal here at Sheridan, I’d like
to tell you a little bit about us.
We are a relatively small K-5 school, (235 students),
that has two classes of each grade level. We strive to
operate as a large family, with everyone expected to
support one another in our learning journey. Our motto
is “We achieve what we believe in.” and our whole staff
believes that all of our kids can learn and that it is
our responsibility to see that they are successful. To
that end our staff works cheerfully and tirelessly.
During the 2004-05 school year, Sheridan was honored in
Washington D.C. as a 2004 No Child Left Behind School.
Needless to say that was a very proud moment for our
students, staff and parents! Sheridan students and
teachers continue to learn and grow together.
